The Sonoma County Area Agency on Aging is offering free informational sessions on elder abuse prevention to community organizations. The sessions will be discussions led by seniors for seniors and those who care about them. For more information, call 707-565-5950.

The most important thing is to be alert. Seniors often suffer in silence. If you notice changes in personality or behavior, you should start to question what is going on. If you suspect elder abuse, call the Adult Protective Services Hotline at (707) 526-4108 or (800) 667-0404.
